The Saluting Battery


Presenting breathtaking views of Valletta’s Grand Harbour and the Three Cities — Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua — from bastions beneath Upper Barrakka Gardens, Malta’s sixteenth century ​Saluting Battery​ is as suited to corporate events, gala dinners and incentive groups today, as it has been for ceremonial occasions since its construction in 1566 by the Knights Hospitaller.

The Vilhena Palace, Mdina


Just steps inside the main gate of Malta’s Silent City, Mdina — the island’s original fortified capital — stands the majestic Baroque ​Palazzo Vilhena​, commissioned by Grand Master Antonio Manoel de Vilhena in 1725. Home to the National Museum of Natural History, dramatic elliptical arches watch over the magisterial palms of the palace’s secluded inner courtyard.

Fort St. Elmo, Valletta


Described by foreign journalists as “possibly the most stunning venue for an EU summit ever,” star-shaped Fort St. Elmo commands the entrances to both Marsamxett Harbour and Valletta’s Grand Harbour. The massive 15th century citadel has been featured in the films Midnight Express, Cutthroat Island, The Count of Monte Cristo and 2013’s World War Z.

The Malta Maritime Museum


Overlooking beautiful Birgu Marina, the Malta Maritime Museum chronicles 7,000 years of seafaring history, includes the largest collection of cannons on the island, and the world’s largest known Roman anchor. From humble beginnings as the Royal Naval Bakery in the 1840s, the facility’s marine-themed St. Angelo Hall is a one-of-a-kind, multi-purpose event location.

Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar


In miniature, fairy tale likeness of the palace at Versailles, Palazzo Parisio’s 18th century Sicilian Baroque interior is replete with mirrored ballroom, majestic drawing rooms, banquet halls and Pompeiian dining room. Outside the palace, fountains, jacarandas and oranges blossom in its formal Italian gardens. Catering is overseen by the Baroness, her daughter and a team of professional chefs.

Mediterranean Conference Centre


Once the largest hall in Europe, Malta’s landmark Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta was built in the 16th century by the Knights of the Order of St. John.
